MEP ENGINEER
Key Responsibilities:1. Project Coordination:• Coordinate MEP design and execution between various stakeholders including architects, structural engineers, and contractors.• Attend regular site meetings and update the project manager on the progress of MEP works.2. Design and Planning:• Review MEP designs and drawings to ensure they meet project specifications and standards.• Provide technical input during the design phase to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of MEP systems.3. Installation Supervision:• Oversee the installation of MEP systems on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.• Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure the work is executed to the highest standards.4. Problem Solving:• Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts related to MEP systems that arise during the construction process.• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to address any delays or technical problems.5. Compliance and Documentation:• Ensure all MEP installations comply with local building codes, regulations, and standards.• Maintain accurate records of MEP work, including progress reports, inspection logs, and as-built drawings.6. Testing and Commissioning:• Supervise the testing and commissioning of MEP systems to ensure they are fully operational and meet performance requirements.• Coordinate with commissioning agents and third-party inspectors to validate the functionality of MEP systems.7. Health and Safety:• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all MEP work is performed in a safe manner.• Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on site management.• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building codes, and standards.• Proficient in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools.• Excellent communication and coordination skills.• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Working Conditions:• Full-time position based on-site at construction projects.• May require occasional travel to other project sites or meetings.• Working hours may extend beyond regular business hours to meet project deadlines.Remuneration and Benefits• One day off per week (Friday)• 30 days annual leave including return ticket to point of hire• Salary – Usd 1200- 1500. • 2000 MVR for foods allowance per month• Free – accommodation

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant certifications in site safety supervision are advantageous.
